As fall winds down, our focus now turns to Christmas gift giving.
Hard to believe it is just six weeks away, so we know you are already starting to think about what to get your loved ones, co-workers, clients, teachers, bus drivers, and neighbours for Christmas. Next week we will be launching detailed information about our offerings, including poinsettias, gift baskets, platters, planters, and other exciting options.
As you would expect, we will be offering full delivery options, and we are exploring online ordering options now. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get that important gift at all price points.
We have seen some frost in the fields this past week, but that has not impacted our broccoli, cabbage, or cauliflower at all. In fact, they look fantastic right now. We are hurrying to get them off the field now to prevent any future issues, but they are still top quality.
We are also in talks with some local greenhouses in hopes we can get some non-traditional greenhouse crops grown for us through the winter. If all goes well, we should have shelves full of local produce throughout the winter.
Finally, we just returned from a weekend in Niagara-on-the-lake. The weather was fantastic while we were there enjoying some local wineries as well as shops along the main street of town.
During our visit, we collected names and companies of several fantastic new products we are hoping to introduce in the market, everything from cheeses to crackers and even grape juice. We will keep you updated as we meet with more suppliers and distributors.
