What is Pad Thai? Pad Thai is a signature stir-fried noodle dish made with soaked rice noodles that is stir-fried with eggs and tofu, flavoured with tamarind pulp, fish sauce, and other spices such as red chilli peppers. Sweetened with palm sugar and herbed with garlic or shallots to awaken one’s taste buds. Usually served with lime/lemon wedges and often garnished with chopped roasted peanuts. It may also contain other vegetables like bean sprouts, garlic chives, cilantro, and usually complimented with fresh bean sprouts.
