The Richmond Popcorn Co. was founded in 2022 by Niki & Dan Gemus, who were inspired by their love of popcorn, family and community.

Their mission was simple: they wanted to build a better, stronger, thriving community through their handcrafted gourmet popcorn.

Each bite, each crunch—it's a connection to the community around you. Your family and friends are sitting together in your living room, chatting about all the things that matter to you. You're sharing stories over a bowl of popcorn, laughing together and enjoying each other's company.

They founded the Richmond Popcorn Co. because they believe that when families share their time together over a bowl of delicious popcorn, they create bonds that last a lifetime. When friends get together to watch their favourite movie with some salty snacks, they're bound by their love of good food and good company. And when coworkers sit down around a table in the break room with their favorite flavour at their fingertips, well… it just makes work better!
