The full, robust plant bears blossoms on every branch from planting time until frost. Slightly lighter lavender flowers with a dark throat and veining may occasionally display a faint white picotee margin on the petal edges.
Like all Supertunia petunias, the petals of Supertunia Bordeaux II are thicker than many petunia flowers, which helps them to be more durable in adverse weather and bounce back more quickly after it rains. Additionally, strong disease resistance keeps the plant growing strong all season.
Supertunia petunias are vigorous with slightly mounded habits that function as both fillers and spillers in containers. They are also excellent landscape plants, best suited to be placed near the front of beds. They have medium to large sized flowers.
The optimum amount of sun or shade each plant needs to thrive: Full Sun (6+ hours), Part Sun (4-6 hours), Full Shade (up to 4 hours).
