Terms Of Service

We’re a fairly easy going family at Lee & Maria’s, so we like to keep our terms of service as simple as possible. Basically, it all boils down to that fact that if you aren’t happy with the quality of the product of service you have received, call us and we will be happy to make it right. We can be reached daily between 8 am and 7 pm at 519-733-9328. Give us a call and we’d be happy to help.

Now for a little more in depth information:

Credit Card Policy

We collect your information through a third party credit card processing company called Stripe. At no time does Lee & Maria’s ever hold or maintain your credit card information. We tell Stripe when to charge your card, and they charge it. If you ever require a refund, we tell Stripe to issue a refund, and they do. This maintains bank level security of your credit card information at all times.

By signing up with Lee & Maria’s you are giving us the right to charge your credit card on an ongoing basis for orders you agree to accept and understand we will charge your credit card on the Friday prior to delivery. You also understand that if for some reason a charge does not go through, you will not receive your scheduled order.

Refund Policy

If you receive produce that doesn’t meet your standards, we will happily credit your account for the value of the produce. We do not require it to be returned and urge you to make use of it if you still can. The same holds true for any other products sold by us, including frozen meals, groceries, baked goods, eggs, etc. However, we suggest you discard those items. No one wants to eat baked goods that aren’t top quality.

Aside from product concerns, if you have issues with our delivery service in general, we urge you to let us know.

Please, for all quality or service concerns, call us instead of email. We would much rather work it out with you over the phone…email is so impersonal. You can reach us at 519-733-9328.

We Pride Ourselves On Customer Service,
But Don’t Take Our Word For It…

Cancellations

First we’ll talk about single order cancellation. You can always edits your schedule as you would like. Switch from weekly to bi-weekly or skip deliveries if you will be out of town. We ask that all cancellations be handled before the menus close on Thursday at 11:59pm the prior week. If it isn’t cancelled before then, your card will be charged for the order and we will be including your order in our own harvesting plans and notifying our farmers to anticipate your order as well. In extenuating circumstances, we will work with you to cancel the order…but please do it before the deadline.

For account cancellations, you can cancel at anytime. We just ask again that you do it before the deadline at Thursday of 11:59pm for the following week. When you notify us of your cancellation, we will schedule a bin pick up on your next delivery day and will pick up our empty bin. IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE OUR BIN OUT FOR PICK-UP YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $10 BIN REPLACEMENT FEE.

Bin Usage Agreement

Receiving an order from Lee & Maria’s means you will be taking possession of one of our prized produce bins. We love each and every one of our bins and we hope you love them as much as we do. We ask a few things from you while you hold on to our loved ones.

  • Please don’t keep produce in them after your delivery. It will go rotten and make our bins smell awful.
  • Please do not use our bins to help you with your gardening. They don’t like to be filled with soil.
  • Please keep the lids nearby your bin so we can grab it along with your bin during pick up.
  • Please remember to leave your bin out for our driver in the location you specify on your delivery instructions.

We know life is busy, that’s why we deliver in the first place. However, we ask that you make an effort to remember to put your bin out. We will work with you to remind you if you forget. That said, receiving a bin from us means you agree to pay a $10 fee for any bins that aren’t returned. We will work with you instead of just outright charging this fee…but we will if we don’t get our loved ones back.
